Future Town Hall meetings
Please read our by-laws section on town hall meetings
Article VIII Section 1. The Board shall meet with citizens at least quarterly at town hall-style meetings for the following purposes:
a. Election of Directors will be held at the annual town hall meeting.
b. Report to the citizens.
c. Approve activities to be undertaken by the Village.
d. Other matters as proposed by the citizens or the Board of Directors.

And the Complete Communities Ordnance
2.10.060 - B. Meetings; public participation; action. Each hamlet or village board shall meet with citizens at least quarterly at town hall meetings to identify, discuss, and prioritize community issues. All such town hall meetings shall be open to the public.

We need to discuss these in the context of our future Town Hall Meeting planning activities.
2. Commissioners non-responsiveness (see page 2)
From page 2:
Commissioner Non-responsiveness
We have yet to receive any response from our letters and transcript/minutes regarding the September town hall meeting.
This was one reason I proposed an in-person meeting -
Lack of response diminishes our creditability with the community and our ability to be an effective organization.
We need to discuss this.
3.Meetings time - does the current time work for our Board and community?

Meeting Adjourned

- All BOD meetings should be open to the public and must be announced with an agenda, on the web site and in the library at least 7 calendar days prior to the day such meeting is to be held.
    - There is no requirement that any materials be available prior to the meeting but may be requested under Oregon public meeting laws but I have not had any success with that approach
